Open Tomboy Menu > Accessories > Tomboy Notes
Welcome to Tomboy Notepad
Use this “Start Here” note to begin organizing your ideas and thoughts.
You can create new notes to hold your ideas by selecting the “Create New Note” item from the Tomboy Notes menu in your GNOME Panel. Your note will be saved automatically.
Then organize the notes you create by linking related notes and ideas together!

Make a Quick starter to panel, right click Tomboy and select “Add to panel”

The easiest way how to install Tomboy in any Debian based Linux, open the Terminal and copy there the following command
sudo apt-get install tomboy
